1G-GTE air intake TEMP sensor??

Hi all,
While cruising up hills, at speeds around 90km/h and over, I find that the check engine light comes on, but the car still performs normally. The first time this happened I pulled over quick smart and checked the error codes. It spewed out one code, the code for air intake sensor.
Can someone tell me where this sensor is? Unless it's that little black stub built into the AFM, I can't see it. I'd have thought that it'd be between the intercooler and the intake side of the head somewhere, but i'm probably wrong
I did a search, not much help...
Cheers
EDIT: I am stupid and forgot to mention it was the air intake TEMP sensor. Someone slap some sense into my brain!

2. Air intake temp sensor
3. ECU
I'll recheck tonight to make sure I got it right.

It has obviously failed, or the wire between it and the ecu has come unplugged. (providing that is the fault)
It wont affect anything major, unless you are driving though a volcano or a blizzard.

Fair enough, I'll remember to not drive through the next volcano I come across... I'll write it down on my dashboard, just to be sure.
Sorry, i've had a long day at work with kids making noise and such. My head hurts.
Cheers for the help!

I thought the intake air temp sensor was built into the airflow meter.
