MA61 headlight / bonnet clearance problem???

this may sound stupid, but my MA61 has uneven clearancing between the pop up headlight assemblies and the bonnet lid, front panel.
i fiddled with the adjustment ( little knobs beside the headlights ), but this does not remedy the problem. the passanger side seems to be too far forward, and fouls slightly on the front panal in front of the headlight.
does this make any sense??
how can i fix the problem?? is there some kind of further adjustment, or do i have to pull the headlight assembly off and replace it or what can i do??
thanks people.

Bonnet? or apron?
If its to the bonnet, you can adjust the bonnets position at the hinges.
Not sure about the apron though.

You can also adjust the screws on the side of the headlight cover.
Sounds like your car may have been bent in the past.

yeah, the back of the passenger headlight has a largish gap between it and the bonnet, and scrapes on the apron. . . . . .
which is what i cant figure out how to fix.
ill adjust the bonnet too, now that i know how.
cheers cruzsida
blacksupra,
what do the screws on the side of the headlight do??
and from all other considerations, it hasnt had a bingle. . .
no panal misalignment, no welding marks up front, or anything else, so i cant figure it out. . .

Pull out the black surrounding with the 4 phillips head screws that will allow you to see another 4 screws that hold the lid to the assembly, undo them and try to adjust then...
boxh34d, if you can show us a picture it might give us a clearer understanding.
Someone correct me if I am wrong...
Cheers.
