4AGZE fuel rail and injectors into 4AGE bigport

Hi all,
I have seached for this topic high and low, on this site. Does anyone know whats required to fit my GZE fuel rail and injectors to my Bigport? Are there any real issues with this? I currently have a Microshit ECU. Would this mod at all be possible with a stock ECU?

Yes, plugs are different, one is low ohm the other high ohm. The MT8 which i had had issues with switching between the two, so it may not be able to do it. The stock ecu wont do it, for the same reason.

Is your GZE a small or bigport head variant?
If it is a smallport, then the fuel rail won't fit (injector spacing is different), you will need the rail from the bigport, which you can fit the GZE injectors into.
And yes, injector plugs are definately different.

The injectors still fit in the 100kw manifold/railthough.

on a smallport, both the injectors and fuel rails are interchangeable between 4age and 4agze.
A bigport head has different spacing for the injectors, hence you will need to use a fuel rail from a bigport.

Yes, all 16V 4AG/ZE injectors are physically interchangeable with the appropriate fuel rail.

I presume your 4AG is making enough power to actually NEED the bigger injectors, and you're not just slipping them in because you can?

Cheers for your replies all. Both my 4AGE and 4AGZE are both bigports.
The reason I ask of this is that I only have the 4AGE running atm, and hope to make some more power with bigger injectors. The 4AGE is fairly stock, and running a Microtech Digi 2 Pro ECU.

lolol, Its actually just a start because I currently have these injectors lying around. When I get more money I will be looking into other mods, dont worry!

if you put bigger injectors in you will need your computer retuned, and you will gain a 0% power increase. why bother.
