Hey folks,
I'm selling my RA28. The car is located in Adelaide, SA. Details are as follows:
The engine is a modified 18RGU, with competition cams, lightened/balanced crankshaft, shot peened conrods, 4-2-1 extractors, custom air box with pod filter.
The engine was rebuilt about 60,000kms ago, and the head was rebuilt about a month ago, and was shaved, ported, and polished at the same time (cost over $1500).
The clutch was replaced less than 2000kms ago, also has new
2 1/4" exhaust from the extractors back, with 2 Lukey mufflers and nice 2 1/4" chrome tip, also less than 2000kms old
Interior is in good condition, doorskins recently resprayed with tan vinyl paint, few cracks in the dash, but it has a dash mat, rear seat is sun damaged, front seats are in good condition; they were retrimmed not too long ago.
Custom centre console, with space for CD player and 3 gauges, currently not covered, but it is fitted in place.
When I bought the car, it had been stored for about 15 years, and hardly driven. It is dark green, but the paint is faded, however there is little rust due to it being stored so long. On its last trip to the mechanic's, he accidently drove the front under the tray of a ute while he was moving the car in his workshop, causing some damage, which I have shown in the piccies
I have put over $7000 into this car; it is a fun, fast little sleeper with a NA motor, I was going to ask a higher price, but I will now consider prices around $4500 due to the damage on the front quarter panel.
Cheers,
Tim
Here are the piccies, sorry about the quality, they're from my $70 digital camera

How come you didn't get the mechanic to fix the damage?
Jacob is looking for an RA28, I reckon he'd be interested.

The mechanic will be reimbursing me for the damage to the car, I was going to get it completely resprayed, but now I have other commitments which I need the money for.
Cheers,
Tim
