Yeah but they were bringing them in before that 15 year rule applied, so I need to find someone that was bringing them in when they needed to comply with our retarded government requirements.

this has to do with your recent run in with the cops right?

if your running the standard ecu then you can get your car engineered easily - no emission testing required.
if your running a programmable system your car will need full emissions testing and it aint cheap. - get a std ecu.

I have a standard ECU. I know an engineers would be easy to get, but thats not what they want. I already asked them if I can supply an engineers certificate and they said no because it doesn't fulfil their requirements.

well I guess your gunna have to put it all back to standard, then engineer it properly.

If they are offering to do the test for free Id have a go at it with the setup your running just make sure your cat and other emission equip is in good nick and your using a std gze ecu. the jap emission test would have probebly been as tough as the aussi one.
