Apparently there is a problem with Optus cable atm, it is slowing down & sometimes causing us to disconnect at work, last i heard it should all be fine by about 3, don't know if this could be something to do with your problem or not,

I think it's the problem with the http://ads.qnix.com.au server, which if you view your page source, you'll see it's used for images and javascript.
If you are using firefox (not sure if IE can do it), you're able to disable all images from that domain. You also need to disable javascript as there is some in the page that reads from http://ads.qnix.com.au too.
Pain in the arse, but until http://ads.qnix.com.au get their shit sorted (or the toymods administrator removes the ads for a little while) it's the best way to do it.

i just stuck ads.qnix.com.au into the adblock plugin of firefox and all is super fast 
not so good for the advertisers thoguh

Let me guess, it's the ad server causing the problems?
