Ae92 corolla TWINCAM 16V SOLD	Thu, 21 October 2004 00:34

Its now time to sell my rolla due to me buying a nissan silvia and i cant afford to keep two cars but if i could i would keep it. The car details Car has done 235 000 kms but engine got about 100 000km General details 1993 model ae92 corolla 7 months rego Tinted windows Alarm 4 into 1 extractors 2 1/2 inch exhaust system Shaved head 4 inch cannon muffler K&n air filter Lowered 2 1/2 inch king springs all round 17 inch chrome zepters with near new tyres Color coded bumpers and door handles Inside After market steering wheel/gear knob Tacho gauge with shift light 9 speacker cd sound system exterior and interior A1 The car has been very well looked after serviced every 4-5000kms Im looking at around the 6g mark Will have pics very soon [Updated on: Wed, 10 November 2004 01:28] [Report message to a moderator]

Its actually a 4age(i think) big port but its carb feed. Goes pretty hard and it beat my mates 20 valve off the start. People on the club can vouch for this car. [Report message to a moderator]

It can be done. I think the both jap and american tuners were doing a few 4a-g's. (ie no injection)

there were 2 versions of the 4AC engine, one was a single cam carb the other was a twin cam carb, wat this guy has is a twin cam version. anyway i have driven the car looks fkn horn and goes pretty hard, it doesnt have much of a top end like a real 4ag (ie reline is only bout 5500rpm) but it has heaps of bottem end torque, drives similar to a 3sge from an st162 celica, but goes better cause its smaller and lighter. interior is in very good condition and the paint is really good on the car. the thing doesnt look the same without the wheels so just buy the thing as a package, car has been very well looked after and barely ever gets driven when cold (hence the reason gaga needs to find a new job cause hes always late for work cause hes warming up the car hahahaha! ) anyway car is good looks good and definatly makes ppl look twice. there was never a twincam 4ac at all. If a Toyota engine is twincam it will have either an f or a g in the engine code as these represent different types of twincam. From the sound of this the car either has a 4afc or a 4age with a custom carby setup to replace the efi. [Updated on: Tue, 02 November 2004 00:28] [Report message to a moderator]

twincam carb = 4afc just like the ones in lancer CB not that theres anything wrong with carb 4afc has around 67kw unlike the 4ac which is like 57kw [Report message to a moderator]
