Ok so I went down to the importer responsible for the whole bottoem end/four hours debarkle and explained to him the reason why my motor decided to pack up four hours after picking it up, the pickup was bent on a 45 degreeangle hence no oil
I explained to him that it cost me "$650" to put the new motor in, he replied with, well i dont have $650 in cash just lying around and im well ok how about you give me some parts, which is what i hoped for anyway, so moral of the story is tomorrow I am picking up some JZA70 brakes, some nice KYB Sports Suspension that is damn hard with some nice fancy lowered springs and an MA70 Diff that happens to have some nice LSD!
w00p!
/end fantastic story for matt!

All i need to do is hook up the boost controller again and find me a nice W57 and ill be cooking!
The beauty of this is that I wanted to buy all this shit anyway but would require a fair bit of saving but now i have it all already

Take the cover off the diff to check that it is LSD.
Sounds like a reasonable outcome in the end.

if its not then it goes back...to swap for another one that is LSD
also how can i check if it is LSD without pulling it apart, a good friend of mine says if i spin the yoke then both axels should spin in opposite directions?
is this correct?

That is correct if you are looking for a NON LSD
LSD should both spin the same way when you spin the yoke

If you spin the yoke, both axles should spin the same way for ANY type of diff. Think about it, when the tailshaft spins which way to you expect the wheels to spin?
If it's an open diff, when you spin one of the axles the other axle should spin in the opposite direction, and the yoke stays still. But a worn LSD will do the same thing! The only reliable way to tell if it's LSD or not is to pull the inspection plate off.

Dude, that's awesome!
I haven't dealt with an imp0rter yet, but I'd have expected a bit of "well sorry, maybe you should have inspected it, and done compression + oil pressure tests first buddy."
Perhaps the planet isn't completely fu(ked just yet . . . .
