Awesome.
I want the spolier off that white concept drawing. I think that plain little black spoiler on the edge of the boot lid looks awesome. I wish they had have stuck with the side vents on the concept drawing and had them on both sides.
Did you get any pics of actual AW11's in the museum?

Nah... they did not have a single mr2 in the Museum... maybe not quite classic enough yet!
I did get lots of pics of old celicas and rollas that would make a lot of the guys on these forums drool...
maybe I'll post some if there is the demand!

Great pictures Feral, that must be the SA-X 1979 prototype.
I would kill to get my hands on that thing.
I really like the look of that car as it smells seriously of lotus.I think the final design looks a little more reserved than the prototype which has a sort of italian bertone design look.

It looks like a lotus because it was going to be a lotus!!!
There are so many things that show how toyota and lotus were developing a mid-engined 2-door 1600cc twin-cam engined 2seater car. And then it got canned. Or toyota decided to bring it back a few years later as a full toyota production vehicle.
Another funny thing is lotus actually used tail lights of an ae86 on a 1994 esprit.

Please post the pics of any other cool Rolla's etc from the museum. Actually how many pics are there? If you like we might be able to get them hosted up on the Toymods website.
