What's wrong here?

For $250000, I would expect nothing less than Indiglo electroluminescent dash dials.

Pity it's not a convertible.
Would have toseriously think about selling everthing to get a conv one if it became avalible.
Or maybe the bank manager would extend the mortage some more.

But it's a 2000GT!, you don't buy it to have the best handling / performing car in the world, you buy it to own something rare and unique
You wouldn't want to drifto a 2000GT

I read somewhere that there were only 2 convertibles made and one was destroyed in a james bond movie???
Checkout the HPI volume 5 dvd (might be volume 6), some dickhead in japan was modifying one in a workshop and put in a 2jzge

Apparently there used to be a 2000GT in Canberra during the 70s. Dad told me that he used to see it nearly everyday driving to work.
He doesn't know what happened to it...possibly its still in Canberra?

The current issue of Classic & Sportscar (UK) has an article on the Shelby 2000 GT's of the late 1960's.
The cars looked great with their blue or red racing livery and wider verison of those beautiful factory alloys.
Too bad I am a tightarse and didn't buy it to scan it for you all
