sending camshaft abroad!!

i intend to send a pair of camshaft overseas. The question is, will i get tax by australian gov?? if so, what kind of tax?? im sending it to a friend, not a business transaction.
I asked my friend about this and he cant even tell the difference between TAX and SHIPMENT fees!! aarrgghh!!!!

No, you wont get taxed, HE will get taxed if it exceeds his countries import duty.
Just package them safely, take them to Australia Post, fill out a customs declaration form, and send them off.
I have posted a few things to America.
