Uh yeah...
So anyway, I dunno if we're allowed to submit header banners for the forum, but anyway. It's a slow boring day at work today, so here you go. Use it or don't, whatever

im sure a engine shot will go nicely in the gap on the banner on the left side, that would finish it off nicely

Hehe. The aim of design isn't to fill up every blank spot, just to balance shit nicely and know when enough is enough. Negative space is good!

Hmmmm... I've actually been thinking lately that some newer banners mightn't be a bad idea.. There are a few cars up there at the moment that haven't been around the club for years.
Unfortunately we can probably only have a limited number of car banners (due to advertising requirements for sponsors) but I'll put the suggestion through to the rest of the board and see how much trouble it would be to work some new ones in there..

Hey Michael, I don't know whether we're better off replacing the older stuff, or just adding more new ones and have each one seen less often.. Don't know how possible it would be to do that and still maintain a certain number of views for the advertising banners at the same time..

It all depends on how smart your ad software/photo rotating software is....Surely you could have 2 catagories of pictures to choose from making one a higher preference than the other. That said I'm no programmer and have no idea really...

The software is smart enough.
BTW guys, this might be a good opportunity to just change to the standard banner size....
Those ones up the top, I did in my spare time one night and we're even meant for advertising of any sort... Just wanted to fill up some space.
This is all up to the Board of course, but new banners would be great!

Yeah, I do often get mates leaning over my shoulder saying "What the fuck is with those massive adverts? Bit over the top isn't it?"
If I can be any help with making some professional banners, let me know. It's part of what I do for a living

Yup, size is 468x60.
I'm not sure I like the idea of animated ones (apart from ones from sponsors).
