Is there a difference between 4age and 4ac thermostat in AE82?

Also how are the pipes connected? Is the top 3 pipes inter-connected??

no its the same thermostat, they both sit in the remote thermostat housing that sits on the gearbox

thx Michael, know where I can get one cheap without going to Blacktown??

Is the 3 pipe connections on the top of the housing interconnected?
