idle speed controller, 7M-GE

Apparently, according to Southside Toyota in Brisbane, the idle speed controller is rooted on my MX83, has been for a while (been lazy). Is there anyway I could clean / fix it my self? It's only a small part, so if I could do anything to fix my idle problem it'd be good, Toyota quoted me $900 for a new one :\
If anyone has one for sale that'd be good too

hi
i have a idle speed controller but its of a 1ggte and i think they are the same if you have a pic of the one of the 7m will see if the same or ask some one on here if it will fit.
