does anyone know if there is a way to get into bios if there is a password on it and you dont know the password?

Easiest way is to either reflash the bios or use the reset jumper on the motherboard. Will get rid of the password but will reset any settings you have made.

Take out the bios battery and short the two battery terminals on the socket. I haven't tried this method, but apparently it works :S

I wouldn't go shorting the terminals but if you remove the battery for a few minutes the bios will clear itself.

Firstly try to find the manual, this will show you the location of the jummper to change(short) or which 2 terminals to short.
If you can't find the manual, use the interweb to find it.
It's normal way for a number of motherboard makers to require you to short a terminal with power on to reset BIOS, just be careful!
Thankfully newer motherboards have jumpers to change so you dont have to poke screwdrivers into computer cases...
