Oz_Craig,
It would be nice if you bought one (they are only a few dollars)
to help support the club. They are a non-profit organisation and the money goes to things that make Toymods a better club.
I am not having a go - but if everyone just copied things - like the logo - the club would never be able to keep its head above water.

Mate if you can get anything in the way of sponsorship deals in Brisbane we would be happy to look at them. It would be great to offer more benefits to our Members in QLD.
As for the shirts they are only available to Members so you do have to join to get it. But when you consider the shirt is normally $25 and the Sticker is normally $2. That only leaves $13 which covers things like postage and your Bi-monthly newsletter. When you break it down and take out the cost of the stuff you get its not really costing you much to join
We try and keep things as cheap as possible.

Mate if your not a financial club member the sticker is gunna cost you $40 I'm afraid. But we will thro in a free shirt and membership 
If your already a member and you need a new one they are only $2

How about a nation wide thing like repco, supercheap or something? Or what about toyota themselves in the spare parts department for example? Or even just their own merchandise like shirts/jackets, etc?

A nation wide Sponsor would be fantastic for the Club. Supercheap or Repco for example would be such a fantastic sponsor to have on board. Thing is with the number f members and Forum goers sponsorchip would more than pay for itself in no time flat !
As for Toyota.....We are looking at that right now !! It is only 1 store not a nationwide thing but it could be a great start. Can't promise anything yet as it is very early days.

i want a freeking massive one to take up most the back window please
lol before i get flamed i love this club and definently becomming a member i'm actually going to the shoping centre to make up cards to give to people directing them to the site...
lol it's better that hanning out the window screeming it out at people...can leave them on the windscreen as well...

Mate Toymods Business cards are actually on there way ! There was a disign competition a little while back and we are pretty close to having the winning design printed.
Rob,
We actually have a new design Flyer on its way to mate . Its not quite as close to release as the business cards but its not far away now We just need to arrange someone to print them for us.

i can actually make the stickers myself so if somebody really did want a full size windscreen sticker of the toymods logo i could do it send it down to toymods who would then sell it to a member
i can do any colour, design, size you want and now i can even do photographic sticker design not just the traditional line art, so if it's not to do directly with toymods i can deal with people direct
there's a thought anyway at the next toymods meet you can get people to place orders for stickers in the colours they want and i will send them down to you....this is at cost price of course
i have 'magilla gorilla' on my glovebox next to a gorilla toy ...the car roars

this is what i would call a good design for a sticker, its going to be the old celica club design, i think toymods should have some sort of competition in redesigning their stickers

Guys,
I am also a big Fan of the Flying Dragon emblem but don't forget this is a club for ALL modified Toyotas ! The flying Dragon, is the Celica Emblem so might upset the owners of other models.
Besides the Toymods Symbol is regognised in a lot of places now. It is the trademark of the club you could say so don't ecpect to see it changing. That would be like coke deciding to write Coca Cola in all capitals and Blue print !
This Is just my opinion on this topic and not the veiw of the whole board. I think most of them would agree with me tho. Back in the very early days I beleive there was a competition to pick the logo and the one we have is the one tha won !
Thats not to say we couldn't have other stickers as well but at this point in time the club just could not justify the investment unless someone can get them donated to the club ?

ok i get the hint rod very subtle
how about this sugestion, there is another competition held and i donate say 20 stickers of the winning design to the club and if there is enough response we can go from there
coke has actually changed their logo over the years it is just minor changes hardly noticeable unless you see one from the 40's
i mean business do change logos all the time, look at queensland government they changed their logo, though not for the right reasons only so then peter beattie can say
"look what i done am i good or what i even got smart state plates...deerrrr what else can i do?"
