Hey. i was wondering if anyone would roughly know the price of converting a lefthand side steering column to a right handside steering column.. import from U.S. Is it done when they check for compliance? Or by a local mechanic? Any help would be great thanks.

my friends cousin converted a skyline r33 or 34 cant remember in usa frm right hand drive to left. it got alot of coverage in magazines and autoshows. he was also the first one to do it. based on all this, it looks like a close to impossible task to do. at least on that car

And then you still need 'left hand drive' plates and someone else in the car as a 'spotter'

My parents got thier landcruiser converted about 15 years back now for around $8000, it also took 1 year to do.
Not a good investment.
