OH YEAH! you should have tried driving with that! i have been for over a week now. You take off from a stand-still, and the freaken rear end just locks up - you gotta reverse to stop the pin from locking on the gears immediately.
Thank god i just swapped it out

simons t series seems to be holding up well behind the ca18det
maybe you just got a lemon with fucked up lash settings and/or excessive free play

T series diff's are weak peices of shit with toothpicks for axels
I had one behind a stock 13b and smashed 3 centers and at least 10 axels in less than 3 months
Go the G series diff, I give mine lots of punishment and it is still going fine

I wouldn't take this example as the norm for a 4age vs a t series diff.
Witzl is a very skilled driver... he has managed to break every car he has ever had from pulsars, corollas, celica's through to his step dads diesel work van.

Well Ive only ever destroyed one T series diff in 15 years in 5 different cars including my AE85 rally car.
I think someone needs to learn roll backs are not good for cleaning gears

HEY! dirty bastards!
well im now on my 4th T series centre, but each kinda has its reason:
1. Came fudged from factory (came with T series live axle rear from wreckers)
2. Was good. Then we went to WSID with road/drag tyres and played with 6000rpm clutch dumps..... no wheel spin!
3. What you see above. Was fine, until that pin decided to play sliding games and chew up some teeth.
4. Is all good
say what you will in defense of the T series, but deep down inside we all know that they are destined to become diff soup behind a moderately powerful engine
