Rain makes my wheels spin for about 2 seconds and makes me suddenly slide over to the other side of the road and have to wrestle with the steering wheel to regain constrol.
Who said rain was boring?

Taking off from nice slippery traffic lights, I once kept wheelspin going all the way through to the top of 3rd. The car was doing about 70km/h, my speedo was reading over 100. I stayed in my lane though...
Mmmmm rain. It's all good unless it happens when I'm parked at home, at which stage the tree over my parking spot drops a crapload of gooey stuff all over my car and it takes forever to get it off. :/
[edit: and by 'top of 3rd' I mean 'the speed limit'. Obviously it'll do over 100 in 3rd. ]

Last time I tried to keep spin going into third in the dry I slipped my clutch. Dunno if I really want to shell out for a clutch upgrade though - I'll wait a few years and do it all at once. Planning a 2JZ conversion when (if) the 7MGTE dies...

Didn't get out the sponge but my car had a good wash Got protech paint protection so all the crap just washes right off. Also makes me appreciate the value of larger tyres, the new 15" rims on my Seca are so much more stable in the wet than the old 13" stockies..

thought this was going to be based on burnouts in the wet.
i hate rain makes my car go from red to black due to driving along roads used by coal trucks. hate the rain in the vy though cos the tiniest bit of accelerator and the thing wants to spin but tc kicks in.

wet roads equal no traction for me at any speed under 65km/h with any sort of mild boost , it gets annoying
need fatter tires.

rain + AWD = boring OR exciting
Boring cause the AWD makes phear of slipping/sliding redundant for the most part around corners without warning. ( this is also bad cause the probablilty of losing the cars grip totally becomes more likely + messier )
FUN because you can actually pull off a proper launch on a wet road nicely without pesky launch bogdown .. but i can only squeeze off 6 or 7 sec to 100KMH on wet roads ..
