hi my name is dean i live in campbelltown i own a ke55 corolla and also own a 3tgte and i am trying to gather as much info about the conversion before i start so i don't hit as many problems so im just asking if you could tell me what is involved to do this conversion. Im sure this subject would have been talked about many of times before go the rollaz

Hey, why don't ya just do the 2tg conversion like me, seems a bit easier than that, and produces a good amout of power for the 55, it also keeps engine and car in the right era...
I will be writing a full tech article on this for future reference...

here here, i'm still happy with my 2tg hybrid but already regretting not going straight to the 3tgte, they have potential where as my engine cant get much better than it already is

On top of what EMP2TG says - I seriously recommend a diff conversion (this will go close to being the single most expensive item of the build).
EMP2TG has done the HiLux conversion (I think) I did the Borg Warner LSD. A well thought out 3T GTE will break stock diffs at will (I wouldn't even consider bringing my 3T on full boost with the stock diff).

yeah ive already got the 3tgte, supra gearbox,f9 haltech, 4:11 lsd out of a spriter all of my parts i have were in a ke20 and now im putting it into my ke55 so maybe you could help me a bit jason
