What are the guards like?

Rust free?
Square lip or round lip?
dents, problems?

i think the guards may have been previously repaired at smoe stage.

but are fine atm.

how do u tell the difference between the guards ?

also the bonnet in really good condition if anyone is interested in it ?

If you run you finger along the lip of the guards, the square lipped ones are flat. Whereas on the round lipped ones, the lip actually curves under and doubles back on itself...I think that made sense ?

Well have you thought about the fact that it may have been in an front end accident years ago??? What if the so called 'late 73 to 75' guards had to be replaced with earlier ones.

I have a second TA22 with a round lipped guard AND a square lipped one. Finding a car this old without any accident damage is like finding rocking horse shit! So just presuming that it is a '74 doesn't necessarily mean that it will have the correct guards!
