Just wondering if there is an easy fix to a wastegate getting stuck shut? I think this is my problem as my car is hitting boost cut only at 9-10psi i thought it was at 11-12psi? I know things can leak etc but 2psi?
So my question is as above, is there an easy fix? or do i have to take it to a mechanic? Thanks

WHAT???
How do you figure a stuck wastegate will effect the pressure that your fuel cut occurs at?
From memory I think the 7M had a flow related fule cut rather than an actual boost refferenced cut. This means that the amount of boost you are seeing at fuel cut will vary depending on atmospheric conditions etc. If you have a leak between the turbo and the engine then the AFM will still be seeing a certain amount of air however the manifold where you are taking your boost reading from will only see a percentage of that air.
Do you know what "boost" level the fuel cut was occuring at previously or are you playing around with a boost controller?
Basically forget about the wastegate being the cause of this problem. A stuck wastegate will cause uncontrolled boost rise but it's not going to cause the fuel cut to happen at a different flow or boost level.

Sorry i should have said, it his fuel cut at anywhere between 8-11psi, i have my boost controller set at 9psi but it sometimes does it before it gets there. Could it be a leak somewhere? Help cos i dont know whats doing it
