Banned Members?

Is it possible to have a banned member's profile either deleted or made aware that they are no longer posting under that name? My reason for asking is the fact, everytime someone is banned, their threads are still responded to, their details still present and contacts still available? Perhaps a simple "banned or blocked member" tag in their infomation on the left, much like the "I supported Toymods" monikers some of us have?

The special tag is a good idea!
I'll try to do that from now on.

Thanks for the input Clint. I was trying to figure out a way to try and stop the replies to banned users without deleteing them and what they've posted. The tag will be good as long as people pay attention to it, we can only hope I guess.

Yep it works a treat, though I'd suggest you also delete their contact details from their profile info too?

I hope that people want to stop dealing with banned users once they are banned.
I've been leaving the contact details in case anyone got screwed by the banned users and wants to get in touch with them.

also it allows us to keep track of dodgy dumbasses who keep the same contact details and make new accounts etc....
example: hermancyp/alarmguy/hotwrx
Thanks for the input CLG

I'd say it would have to be done manually
If you see it, report the thread to the board, and someone will lock it.
