hi all, i just realized my timing is out on my 4age 86kw, before i unbolt the dizzy... I'm guessing by turning the dizzy counterclockwise will advance and clockwise will retard... can any one confirm??
any input will help

just figure out which way the motor turns by watching the rotor and then turn the dizzy the opposite way to advance then reverse that to retard. dont know which way a 4A spins, i assume clockwise, but you cant go wrong doing this i dont think.

OR just loosen the bolt, have the engine running with a timing
light connected, and rotate the dizzy while watching the light
on the crank viewing the degree's, and set it where you want it!
