hey guys
as im super keen to get my car on the road i was thinkin about 6 monthly rego..is there such a thing? i thought that if i pay for 6 months of rego it should include 6 months of greenslip to yeh? and therefore should be cheaper..
plus gettin 6 monthly rego will position the due payments in a better time of year for me to.
is there such a thing as 6 month rego?
does the greenslip last 6 months to?

no.
not in nsw anyway
Not trying to dispute this, but how do car yards get away with it? The last used car I purchased (privately) must've had a 6 month rego at some time in it's life, by coincidence it was originally bought on my birthday (20/8) yet the rego expiry was 20/2. Had been kept in NSW all it's life & still had the original plates aswell...
i had a hunch it was possible.. now that you have mentioned it the thought must of generated from caryards ive visited..ill ask the rta unless anyone esle can prove yes or no.
