hey all,

just wondering how hard this will be to do?
anyone else done it? I wanna use the stock computer if possible, if not, I'll go microtech.

should i just go to aftermarket from the beginning?

or will it be easy enough with the stock ecu/loom of the 4age.

sicne the KE20 has virtually no loom to begin with, just start with the 4AG's looms and make new wiring from there...
since you are basically starting from a clean slate, it will be pretty easy.. i'm doing similar into KE1X atm.. redoing whole wiring so it actually has relays Wink

well, you don't have to do anythign so drastic...

something like...

wire ignition switch to a main relay, have that relay turn on ones for fuel pump, coil, injectors/ECU etc... and basically install an "EFI loom" as such... try not to load the ignition switch any more than it is now by relaying all power..

you can keep the indicators etc wiring seperate, but now would be a good opportunity to relay the headlights, and thermofan too.

you could also wire in an immobiliser and central locking Wink

Its pretty simple with the stock 4ag computer.

Only need constant power, Ign power & start power.

All the rest is contained in the 4ag loom.

The only other thing is the power to & from the fuel pump relay.
