Blinkers - 73 TA22 Thu, 03 October 2002 08:54 Go to next message
Having a few problems getting them to work. Mad Mad
Hazzards work, but not blinkers. Have tried a different flasher, and combination stalk. All bulbs work..

Any suggestions??? Have run out of ideas now.

Thanks,
andrew

Its sounding like it could be your switch! You might want to get up under your dash and unplug the loom then test your switch with a multimeter!

Hey Kerr,

The relay for the indicators & emergency flashers on my RA28 are seperate.

Their both stored behind the kick panel on the drivers side footwell.

Tap em with a screwdriver or somthing while the stalk is down & it might free it up.

Hope this helps

Thanks Hack.
The TA22 seems to have only the one. Damned old wiring!

i had this problem with my ta22 and it was the flasher relay - if you pulled it apart it could be adjusted to work again for a couple of weeks before the problem would return.

Thanks eboy. I think it's more than the flasher though Sad
A wire must be shorting out somewhere in the circuit.

The confirmation of only the one flasher can was a good help. Had somewhere to start from then.
