Then theres the option of just putting a turbo on it instead of the engine conversion... im just confused as to what to do.

If you click on the search button at the top of these forums (next to login etc.) and type "4AGZE conversion" or something, there will be an absolute bucketload of info. After you have done a search and still find questions unanswered then by all means ask away.
to quickly answer your question:
putting a 4AGZE in a AE92 is very straightforward and is a direct replacement.
The GZE provides a far better platform for turbocharging than the GE, which has high compression and a computer that will not run a turbo. so your better to buy a GZE, put that in then turbocharge it later down the track than to turbo charge a GE straight up.
hope this helps a bit.
and remember to do a search
welcome aboard!
