Its about $800 at the moment. I saw a guy on skylinesaustralia.comwho picked one up for $200. Bit of rust, bad condition, etc. I think that that was in the trading post though. I haven't had much luck there, so i thought i'd try something a bit more specialist. It is really only for practicing drifting until i can get a bit of money together to get a car purposely to drift, or do up the corolla.

Best bet is to get an AE71 and weld the diff up
and put a nice engine in that for that sorta starting budget.
They are a great little car to you know.

This is a great idea. They are basically an AE86 with a different shell aren't they? And MUCH cheaper. Pick one up for a grand or something, chuck in a 4AGZE yourself, get some cheap-ass lower/stiffer springs and some ok shocks, weld a few bars in here and there inside to stiffen it up a bit, lock the diff and you're laughing!

If you wanna stock 86, you really should have a budget of 2k at least.

Hellz yeah.
They are shorter so they spin a little more easily than an AE86 when drifting, but if you master one
of these cars then anything else would be a breeze. Very Happy
Would love to have one as a little rally car and dirt basher
or track weapon/ sleeper. You can get good ones for $1000 and i see em all the time.
