TRD has two clutch sizes for the gze, one is 225mm, the other is 230mm. From what I have gathered, the 230mm setup is on the late map sensored ae92 gze's and also the ae101 gze's. I have been trying to source a 230mm kit for my gze, and it seems that Daikin make a standard and heavy duty kit for only the 225mm setup. The PCD of the bolt holes for the clutch cover are different between the two, 250mm v's 253mm so you cant use a 225mm kit on a 230mm clutch's flywheel cause the pressure plate wont bolt-up. Trevor from Brake Distributors of Australia has been extremely helpful with sorting out my clutch dilemma, and I am currently having my original 230mm clutch setup re-built as a sprung center ceramic plate with carbolic facing's, and an uprated pressure plate to suit. They are also lightening and re-balancing my gze flywheel at the same time, the whole setup is not costing me much more than a standard Daikin HD kit, and it will be a much better clutch!
You can contact Trevor at http://www.brakedistributors.com.au/

I have found a chassis, just have to make some time to go buy it...
the 215 (or it might be 212) is from the 16V 100kw and 20V 4age with a c series box... The input shaft on the e series box is 29mm and the input shaft on the c series it much smaller, so the clutches are not interchangable. I contacted Daikin Australia and they had no idea, I then contacted Trevor because he is an authorised Daikin Distributor, and he found that Daikin have standard, heavy duty, and organic kits available for the 225mm gze clutch, but nothing for the 230mm... the easy way out is to get a 225mm gze flywheel from an MR2 or early ae92 gze, and then you can easily source the off the shelf kits...

ring johny at western clutch service and order an EXEDY ceramic button for a gze mine was a later gze ae92. cost over $800 for the kit but it will be the last clutch you will ever want. no shudder or slip and long wear. and cheaper the second time round but i still havnt got there yet after 40k of hard driving.

Yeh i contacted Daikin Clutches Australia in Sydney and they tell me they have a 253mm PCD standard clutch with 590kg pressure.
And a ceramic clutch with 800kg pressure (TRD type).
Im not sure what the PCD means though.
Ive also spoken with Race Brakes in Sydney whom, rebuild the clutches as you desire. But need the existing 230mm clutch to exchange. They need the centre spline i think.
I may just get a 100kw flywheel and use the more common 215mm clutches if thats possible. But you mentioned doesnt fit? Centre spline issues i presume.
BTW Jason you have any ae101 gze wiring diagraphms or info i could get? i got mainly ae92 map gze ones.
