mine is only 400x240x60 but none the less here is howmine is fitted..just one tab/bolt on the top, and the silicon holds it in the position it looks real neat considering my mate done it without having a front bar to position it off!! fits beautiful!

I am running a 500x297x73, and in my opinion, it's the largest possible without cutting stuff.

You're welcome to come take a look if you want, and I can take a look at your RWD 4AGE while your here....

im running Core Size of: 450x300x76, you could fit a bit bigger, but gtr cooler would require some cutting... Ill probably be getting some pics of it tomorrow, it fits real nice

I can't remember the exact size, but I got one made up as big as I could stuff in there some time ago. I'll try and remember to measure it tomorrow, and I might even be selling it off soon Very Happy

a 600mm wide intercooler wont fit. I guess its theroeticly possible but you will need to re-engeneer the radiator support and also make custom headlight mounts that only hold them from one side. 450mm wide is the max recomended size

You talking core width or total width?

Also, should the question be along the lines of: "what's the biggest intercooler I need to run to get the power I want", not "what's he biggest that will fit" ?

OK, if you're trying to get all the power you can, then a big intercooler is maybe what you want, but if you just want something under/around 200hp, then you could probably get away with something relatively small.

My sprinter uses a stock intercoolr from a R33 Skyline (core size couldn't be bigger than 300mm wide x 300mm high) and my car makes 145 rwhp on 15psi boost.

Of course, I wonder if it should be making MORE than this, and whether the intercooler's to blame... Rolling Eyes

600mm is the core width. with the end tanks its about 1m wide. i want to use this cooler because i've already bought it and it has nice endtanks compared to the hybrid style ones you see floating around everywhere. I'm aiming for about 250rwhp

1m wide, heck. the entire front of the 86 isnt much more than that. 1430mm i think, Thats not much more in the whole scheme of things. Good luck.
