ra65 tank into sa63 coupe

does a ra65 and sa63 take the same tank? even between coupe and hatch models? i have done a search on old posts and found the ra65 efi tanks are baffled, would the efi pump be suitable to feed a surge tank with a bosch m'sport pump? i'm using a skyline one at the mo' but i'd like the baffles and internal pump, it,s for a drift/sprint car with 350ps.
how much does an ra65 tank and pump etc. usually go for?
thanks, love the wealth of info on this site

As far as I know the fuel pump in the RA65 is the same as the MA61 Supra... Which would mewan that you can get the Walbro 255lph replacement... The fuel tank is baffled and I doubt you would need a surge tank..
The part number on the Walbro pump is GSS341 and will be fine upto 450HP

Ok well in terms of the tank all the XA6X series celicas came with two different fuel tanks from memory... Basically you have to check if your RA65 and SA63 have the same suspension setup, as the solid axle rear end and the IRS rear end had different tanks... If they are both IRS or both solid axle then im pretty sure the tank is the same. Just look in the boot/hatch... If you can see shock towers at the back its an IRS otherwise its the solid axle

I have a SA63 and my mate has a RA65.
from what i can see the tanks are both the same and i'm told they are the same size.
mind u we both have the liftback models.
My other mates has the sedan model and the tank appears to be longer and flater.
Don't take it as gospel tho. i can measure it when he comes round next if u like

I'm pretty sure it's only the RA60 that has a solid axle.
I haven't done much with my suspension at all i lowered it a little so the car sits level, Next up will be stiffer springs or at least dual rate springs.
I don't know if u have noticed but when u try to launch hard off the line the inside of the tread is the only part of the tyre in contact with the ground.
so u will end up with tyres like rollerblade wheels.
I'll be getting a RA65 tanks as the 1G i plan on putting in has EFI.
so it will be interesting to see how much they will sting me for a tank. What do u have a sedan or hatch ?

Sorry i didn't quite understand what u said, What do u mean use another IRS ?I dunno if u can post pics on this part of toymods. but don't quote me on that u might have to use imagebucket or something.
We say to my mate with the coupe that somebody fat has sat on his boot and that's y it's shaped like that.
I tell you tho the back end of those are so strong i ran into the back of him (not totatly my fault) at like 50 kms and all it did was bend the tip of his exahust pipe.
I'd love to see somebody do something cool with these cars.
Down here we need to keep them looking pretty stock or we get put on "the list" the cops have .

Well an RA65 tank went straight into Nark's RA60, so I don't think there will be any issues with swapping one between the IRS versions of the chassis.
