I have no idea! I guess that Toyota engineers have designed some "new" revolutionary X-chassis design. It seems to be big secret for Toyota. If you look the X-body 02 link in that FLASH you can see the animation of how they twist it lower and higher. Now that REALLY wonders me...

Yea the 9/11 thing is kinda wierd, go Toyota
It does seem pretty strange, I wish there was a English website that had some info on it. Honestly though, if it's really good, it's probably not going to get imported by Toyota anyway 
It's some new funky chassis or drivetrain or both design...The motors in wheels thing would be nifty. I still think that the Volta is the nicest new age car Toyota has come out with yet.
