I was trying the remove the windscreen trim yesterday, but it seems that the last bastard to touch it put to much urethane(spelling) around the window and now the trims are seriously stuck, i tried to cut with a razor but in the end i broke the windscreen and all (2 sides and 1 top) trim,
The windscreen doesnt bother me i can geta new one but its the trim im worried about.
How much do you think it would cost me to replace the three pieces, either new from TOYOTA or second hand.
Any help appreciated guys and gals.
Cheers
Steve

Well it wasnt the razor that broke the glass,it was the screw driver i was using to pry the trim back while using the razor to cut all the dam urethane.
What rubbers are you refering to?

I think the rubber she is referring to is the trim you are talking about.
MFX_Neko_86 the trim is actually plastic, but i agree with you both that they are stuck on like a bastard. I recomment just masking it off when respraying because its such a hassle to take it off (the side ones at least - the top one i presume is clipped on but if someone has siliconed it then just mask it to prevent cracking it)
Best place to get replacements is from the wreckers dude, but i doubt they'd be stuck on like the previous owner did to yours. Fix the windscreen first

There is a small section of rubber in.on the windscreen trim, but that just peeled off easy, i was going to mask it up, but i thought nah, do a job do it properly, woops!
