Hehe.
GT's exactly right. Frankly I think the guy over charges for what he does and doesn't do an overly good job at it anyway. Most of his turbo work is outsourced, the turbo car that he has there (morboost) isn't even his IE he didn't do it.

It would appear from the other cars that he has rolling around that he does indeed know how to tune a NA motor, and has done several good looking and well running shelby cobras. So kudos to him there, however I'm sure the guy paid through the nose for it.

My immediate advise would be NO, don't go there, from both my previous experience and my knowledge of what he does, however, if you feel the need and dont' mind paying heaps for nothing overly special, then go for it.

My limited experience: I rang a several times trying to get my car in so they could make engine mounts. Initially, they promised the world - rapid turn around and reasonable price. In the end I gave up - they didn't answer the phone or said they were too busy and to try again in a 'couple of weeks'. They will be waiting a long time for my business.
If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Seems pretty clear what you think of these guys, so who in Melbourne can I take my engine to considering this is the second rebuild with only ten minutes of running so I dont want to get screwed around. The motor is a gze. Am I better off getting the machining done and bolting it all together myself. I've had a lot of hassles with people charging me for things they haven't actually done so I need somebody who is honest HA HA. Thanks guys for your input.

Exactly what sort of machining do you need done? If it is general engine machining, you should try Crankshaft Rebuilders in Blackburn/Nunawading - they do a lot of the V8 supercar stuff, prices are reasonable, and quality of work is excellent. No idea if they assemble motors, but if not, they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
Being a non Aus delivered motor you may need to find the specs for journal diameters and clearances. Someone here will know.

Well
Fattony did have a turbo high flowed there, and basically he did fuck all of the work, he just sent it off to someone else to do it.
And charged extra for it.
