Celica ST184/5 Wheels?? Mon, 01 November 2004 06:30 Go to next message
Hey there,
Can anybody tell me what is the specs on st184/5 celica wheels?
Like what is the stud ratio (5 x ?)? And what is the wheel offset? Also would anybody happen to know if the standard subaru wrx wheels (specifically the gold ones) will fit this model celica? Rolling Eyes

the offset is around 37?? I think

wrx offsets are around 50.. which means they will scrub your struts without spacers

the stud pattern however is identical

Great thanks guys for your input. Aren't spacers illegal though?? Also the standard rims on a st184/5, are they 15 or 16 inch?

standard mags on a series 1 184 is a 14" wheel, series 2 the 1991 release was 15" wheels, i think the GT4 was the same but unsure.

as for spacers i'm not sure i thought they were only illegal if the wheels sat out from the guard.

gt4 st185

5 x 100 PCD +38 offset

Shares the same with SFA - wrx ones need spacers for gt4's im led to believe ,ands nods they are a no go ubnless pressed on i THINK - check with your local authorities or engineer

The original specs are indeed 5x100 +38 offset, and the factory WRX rims are also 5x100, however with a +54 offset, which will almost guarantee scrubbing on the struts.
In regards to spacers, in Queensland, they are illegal.. I am unsure about other state policies on spacers.

Good Luck,

Ok thanks a heap guys! I am getting a st184 that is black in colour and I was looking for some nice "gold" rims. I was hoping that the wrx 'gold' ones would fit but at least i have enough info from you all to search for some other decent 'gold' mags. Does anyone have any suggestions??
