Corona??

Hello!
being new to modded Toyota's I read through a whole bunch of the threads on this forum and decided what I wanted was an AE71 Panel Van or Station Wagon (ease/low cost of install of 4agze, rear wheel drive, wagon type shape, W50 gearbox), but having scoured the Trading post and internet forums etc for a few months now I have not found any panel vans and more recently no wagons....therefore I am considering a Corona of relatively the same vintage....is this a good idea?...does anyone else have any suggestions of what would make a cheap, quick, rear wheel drive panel van/wagon??

T-18 is very close to being a wagon!

I'm starting to look for a wagon too at the moment.
My st141 sedan will soon be sold in the need for something with more room to carry parts, toolbox etc. There just doesnt seem to be many corolla wagons for sale unfortunately. I think there are a few guys around this forum that have done 1ggte? conversions into corona's. Would make a nice little sleeper. Even a cressida or crown would be a nice option - with a JZ!

Cool thanks for your time guys....looked for T18...dont seem to be any more common than AE71 Panel vans....will have to look for more info on the 1G corona conversion.

Hi again, I have spent many, MANY hours on these forums and elsewhere on the net looking at information on coronas and havent really come up with much. The sort of info I am after is:
*Models produced during what years (for example: ST141 from 198X to 198X)
*Weights
*Manual gearboxs used (any have W58 or similar)
*Ease of putting a 1ggte or 4agze in (I assume some models are easier than others)
If anyone could help I would be most appreciative.
