RA65 Celi vs MA61 Supra rear quarter

Hi are these identical ?
I got a rear wing from Paul (Supra) and it doesnt seem to sit right on the hatch of the RA65...
are the rears supposed to be exactly the same ?
or am I just putting it on wrong ??

the only difference in a ma6x vs ra6x hatch is the front is longer in the supra other than that they are identical from the doors back....well apart from a few small details like interior etc.

yeah, the bonnet is different ... but doors, hatch, and reat 3/4 are all the same.
I'm almost considering a swap from my current ra65 to the ma61 hatch, 3/4, and doors, as my ra65 is in perfec nic, and the supra has bitsof rust here and there, bogged up for the most part.
another reason to keep the ra65 kicking around, for when I have money for a respray, and swap all the panels before I do that

flares are slightly on the quarter panels... ma61: flare lip is rolled differently for the mouting of the fibreglass guards.
but thats got nothing to do with the hatch lid, which should be exactly the same

how different ed? would it just be a minor panel beating job on the quarter panels to accomodate the flares, or more difficult than that?

From what I've seen and what I was told when I was enquiring about putting the flares on the back of my RA60, the rear quarters themselves are flares quite a bit and it would take a bit of work to make them fit.
Best bet would be to speak to maxdamage75 as he has looked into putting flares onto the non-flare body than I have.

The supra rear spoiler fits perfectly on the celica as you can tell from my avatar. Only problem is the middle support thingy as this goes through the window on the supra and therefore won't fit without any holes in the window. I should get a hole put in as the spoiler has sort of sagged a bit in the middle. I can't even replace the window with a supra one because of the rust below the window.
As for the flares, I've still got the rear ones sitting on my table here. On the supra, the guards are already flared. ie it looks like it has flares without actually having any flares on it. You can put the flares on by cutting the rear quarters which I would rather not do (more to the point, get someone else to do). I have come up with a plan of cutting the flares to fit the car. I've found someone who will do it but he doesn't know how much it will cost and there's no guarantee that it will work. I figure it will be cheaper to stuff up a flare than to stuff up my car. I should get off my ass and do it soon so I can drive my bro's Corolla Type R(ust).
