wow Adam,
you got narky pretty quickly in that thread.. why would he possibly want (or feel the need) to justify himself to you?
86kw and 100kw may not be as different (or as accurate in power figures) as you think....
maybe better intake, + better exhaust, more timing, and a 'favourable' dyno operator did get 85fwkw..
Quote: | MATE i want to kno how the f##k u expect me to believe u got 85fwkw.. i honestly want to kno
|
if i was him, i couldn't give a.. whatever.. what you believe
it's your choice whether you believe him or not... he does have times to back him up tho... do you?

well....
86kw is with stock filter and stock exhaust, stock timing and lower octane fuel.. and some say is underrated from factory..
at dyno day, they seemed consistent at 55-56wkw for RWD..
take one good condition or reco'd motor with good compression, do those mods, and see what happens... you might be surprised

Could also be that the dyno tuner did the test in 3rd gear not 4th, arent you meant to do a full power run in 4th to get the correct rwhp figure, or does it depend on what type of dyno is being used.
Cheers

but we all know that dyno figures are just crap.
there is just too much variance around to take the figures for gospel.
1/4 times are more interesting
