Here goes ...

1) original internal RA65 fuel pump leaned out when i gunned it

2) purchased an external VL fuel pump 2 use as as main pump ie placed in fuel lines (used original as a feeder pump to the VL as main) ...

car would do funny shit i.e. run rich during idle... does not rev smmothly.. and when it came on boost, felt as if it leaned out or sumthing... fuel delivery was all wrong basically ... think MAYBE the fuel regulator has something to do with it .... what do u think ??

(note that my fuel reg was tampered with ages ago when we had some fuel problems ... it may have been stuffed up at that time .. who knows ... )

3) i wanna try another fuel reg to see if it is that which is the problem...

do u think is the problem is the fuel reg ?

Maybe you should put a fuel guage on it to see if the fuel pressure drops at all
is the car still running a standard ecu ,if so what about your AFM

It will only do that if something is wrong with it.

What does that tell you? You're still trying to fix the wrong problem. No No No

Well, the changing of fuel pumps hasn't fixed the problem, so its obvious its downstream from there. Check the lines, check the filter keep going until you find something wrong.

note the internal pump we got was a FEEDER pump, not a replacement for the orig internal RA65 pump hence it had lower flow ... it NEEDS to be used in conjunction with a surge tank i think ... or as a feeder pump to the LARGE external VL pump

phuck .. maybe new lines will do the job .. i think i need to rerun new lines also .. cheaper to start that way
