I am doing the same conversion in my mk2 however i am doing brakes / suspension upgrades first. I think you can even use the 4m / 2m sump and pickup.

If space is tight you can use a remote oil filter setup.

Cooling system should be a point of attention, a bigger radiator may be needed.

Intercooler may be hard to fit if you are running A/C

W58 5speed gearbox can be used but custom mount may be required.

Good Luck

-Phil

Cooling system *should* be ok, if the radiator is clean

You don't need a custom mount for the w58.

If you are using and after market ecu, then you wont need any airflo meter as they all use MAP

90% of the 5me stuff will be useless

No, they are wrong.

You actually own a Toyota Mark2.

Vote 1 "Mark" is most overused term (after JDM) on Japanese car forums. Rolling Eyes

Yeah i'll 3rd it! lol Very Happy

I guess Toyota couldnt make up their mind when they called it a Celica Supra. Was it actually called that here in Aus? - or just a supra?

Sorry to drift off the subject...

Hope the conversion goes well Cool

Sweet!
May i ask how much the 1/2 cut set u back + where you got it from? Not many places seem to have them instock at the moment. From what i gather, 'Rolin' may be the best place to get one from. Ive been quoted $2500 - $3200 so far (5spd)
