Hey guys,
I have had a problem tonight, the bottom pulley fell off, the one that is at the bottom next to the crank pulley. The power steering belt goes around the crank, power steering motor and this idle pulley that doesn't look like it does anything..
I lost the pulley and nut, i couldn't find it on the road anywhere, now i don't have any power steering, does this hurt the car in any way? am i able to keep driving it how it is? just without the belt on?
Someone please let me know asap, i need to drive my car to work tomorrow, not having power steering doesn't bother me.
Also anyone got a spare Pulley and nut?
Cheers
Bourny

you'll be able to drive - just expect the steering to be very heavy (compared to what you are used to).
(e.g. three-point turn or very snug carpark will be a challenge - and atest of upper-body strength)
Take the belt off so it doesn't catch on anything. Not knowing what car/engine you have - you sure nothing else is being powered by the belt?
