Issue with UZ 30 TV screen

Dear Webmaster,
I am hoping you may be able to direct me in the right direction.
I have a Lexus Soarer (UZ 30) and an issue with the TV touch screen.
It would appear to be a computer problem, but I am no expert.
What happens is as follows:
Drove the car to work in the morning, everything OK. Came out to go home and the TV screen was not working as it should.
There are buttons around the outside of the TV that take you to various other menus, such as the audio controls, or the air conditioning controls for the climate control.
When I press one of these buttons the screen goes blank. Also the normal thing is for a sharp beep to happen when you press the button. Now there is a delay and then a sound that is much lower in sound pitch, before the screen goes blank.
The same thing happens when you try the button for the air conditioning climate control.
However there is another button that takes you to a menu that looks like the position of the airports in Japan. ( As you know this is a Grey import and I don't have a manual for it) This screen menu works OK. This is what makes me think that perhaps there is some software that is corrupted.
Any help with what might be the problem, or where I can go to find the answers would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Roger evans

Also perhaps try asking here as well:
http://www.alsc.aus.as
There's some pretty knowledgeable people there. I'm sure they'd be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi there Roger, there is a guy by the name of Jeff Harper, who frequents the Planet Soarer and ALSC (Australian Lexus Soarer Club) forums. Jeff has translated my Japanese Soarer Manuals, and has them available on CD for research purposes. He wants a couple of dollars for them, to cover costs. Well worth the effort to get them.
regards Chuck.
