Looks like i've done no.2 in the cressida and i havn't really given it too much of a hard time! I always have just used mobil diff oil. Do u think that is part of the hassle?? Its to thin or something. Looks like this one dropped its load .. oil everywhere.

Hahaha... Good work Luke...
We use Castrol at work and we've never had any complaints from customers... Is your diff LSD??? If so, are you using LSD oil???

Your Cressida has an F-series diff right? Doesn't bloody sound too promising for me when I put a 1UZ in the Mk2...and I thought autos were supposed to be nicer on the driveline too

I'm on my third f series diff now. Used to punish them every so often and they would just die straight away. Then i got one rebuilt and tightened and this one takes everything i throw at it. But i give it to it sensibly, like no drifting on the dirt and crossing onto tar.
You can get a 4 way spider gear for the centre of the lsd diff from the states but it costs $800 just for the 4way piece. This spreads the load 4 ways instead of two. When you pull about your f series you'll know what i mean.
