hi, im getting an annoying exhaust rattle between 3500-4500 rpm.
It sounds very hollow, fartcan-ish.
What could the problem be, and how would i fix it.
The car is a corolla gti with extractors, and 2 1/4 in exhaust.

Do you have a heat shield over the headers?
If yes, put a spanner to it and check if it's bolted on tight

Could it be the 4A?
but seriously, get under there and hit stuff with a screwdriver handle and find out what it is

yeh, check the exhaust mount..
ive had an experience like this.. so i took it an exhaust specialist.. he told me that the metal bracket that attaches the exhaust to the rubber supports had broken off.. hence the rattling..
