Injector Resistance settings Fri, 05 November 2004 13:37 Go to next message
On my ECU the setting for the injectors resistance is 2.4 ohm , and it has always been set to that. However the specs for the engine and injectors say 2.0 ohm , so now I guess I should investigate wether this setting should be changed , or should be left , and if it is to be changed will anything be affected.

All you aftermarket ECU gurus helpzor me.

have you measured the resistance of the injectors?

can you adjust the resistance on the ECU in small steps? or is it just low/high?

I can adjust the resistance in 0.2 ohm steps , I'll measure the resistance tomorrow but I'm quite sure the computer has had the resistance set too high for the injectors.

Thats werid... i cant think of a reason why it would need to know it to that accuracy.
Normally low/high is enough.
