does anybody make these in aussi? is the altezza gearbox same kind as w55 w58 will it work on a w55 or w58 belhosing?

The Altezza gearbox is not a W series gearbox. You will find that the Altezza box has its bell housing cast as an integral part of the gearbox housing. From memory the designation for the box is an A160 or something like that. You would need to custom manufacture an adapter, of modify the Altezza box.
I am planning to do this with a GX10 IS200 gearbox, however it will not happen till quite some time in the future.
There are a few people that make W seris box to 4AG adapters, you may be able to find this information on these forums, try searching for "W58 to 4AGE".

The bellhousing is part of the box as it says above. He has a J160 with a G-series bellhousing for sale.

Not quite, they do unbolt but the front section of the box comes off with it. I haven't had mine off yet but I think it'll have something like 1st or 6th gear tucked away in there.
FWIW I have a brad-spanking new 6-speed, from an IS200, for sale.
Got literally 15km on it!
