From looking at that site...I reckon that cruise will be full of ricers with sick 'boot installs' etc.
The following is a link from the site:
Quote: | Can I have my membership revoked??
Membership can be take from any member is there is being trouble started or they are giving the club a bad look.
|
WTF? I think people with neons and massif bangin stereos would give any club a bad 'look'.
From the looks of that site, the 'club' doesnt seem very legit.
Just my unearned 2c

FFS joel! neons and tuff woofers look GOOD! not bad!
i think the 'bad look' they are referring to is the way people drive. am i a bad driver?
i reckon i'd get kicked out of the club faster than u can say "lickidy-split"!

I had a look at the site earlier too, noticed this,
Quote: | We will try to have a type of car that will not attract attention of police and other security personnel
|
followed by Quote: | Well-presented and modified cars are a must, but standard car's with no extras will be harder to get into the club.

whoa! its raging in here!
CAT FIGHT! WOOOOOOOOO YEEHAAAAA
i dont mind Novated posting an invitation to the Charisma cruise.
i think it just depends on the wording she chooses to use.
ie. Charisma msport club would like to invite u all to cruise.
this will be a good chance to get to know each other.
membership forms will be available on cruise.
that sounds better than starting off with...
Quote: | "ok guys and gals a friend of mine has just started a new club in adelaide and is looking to get some members!!!! ..."
|
so yeah... about the honies???
will it be worth throwing my line and tackle in?

I second "MWP"
everybody just needs to chill out and relax, we're not competing against everyone else out there. we're all car enthusiasts, no matter what the cars.
the way things are going here there are a few people acting like kindergarten kids and the mods are goin to look at this and think about how pathetic it is and close these forums....
what happend to the good ol days when everyone got along??

Well everyone seems to be developing a wee bit much pride around here and getting all defensive over it. Having said that don't think I'll be able to make it to the cruise and I don't think I'll get into the club either.
