Try Sandgate Auto mate, although they are a ripoff.
Coming from the north turn left after the hexham bridge then about 5 klms down the road you will see it on your left.
Also head into the foreshore, one of the lappers might be selling their ride
Oh and its NEWCASTLE

Yeah, there are quite a few imports in Sandgate Auto's atm, but like Old MR2, they are a big rip off. They have a JAp spec AW11, SC, TT with 115 000 Km on the clock for 13K.
You often see the odd one in the car yards along Maitland Road, but its not many. I do know someone up this way who has a twin turbo soarer for sale.

I bought my AW11 SC from Sandgate.
I think they used a dodgy guy for compliance because the car I bought had heaps of dodgy things wrong with it... including Supercharger not operating! Perished rubber on the tyres, broken wheel studs wrong type of rims, Celica sill cover kick panels...etc. etc. etc. They wouldnt let me test drive the car!
Also when i struck the deal the sales guy "Trevor" he promised 12 months rego and 12 months warranty. After I had transfered the cash and went to pick up my SC they had only put 6 months rego and refused to give me any warranty... by then it was too late to take back my money so I went thru with the sale.
Then after owning the car a few weeks I found out all the problems and ended up taking Sandgate Auto to the Department of Fair Trading.
I won the case and they had to pay to me the cost of getting the Supercharger replaced.
IMHO They are very dodgy and sell at rip-off prices.
I paid $10700 for my AW11 SC and I know for a fact that the car cost them $1200 Aussie dollars to purchase in Japan.
Not a bad profit for the scumbags.
Drive another 2 hours and go to Parramatta road... you'll save 5 grand and get a better car.

They are heaps dodgy. A mate of mine went to test drive an RX7 FC there and not only was it rediculously overpriced but they wouldnt let him test drive it unless he put down a deposit.
He didnt end up even bothereing with it, and importing himself. After hearing that im glad he didnt!

Yea I know, ashame. I really love the white FC there, just cnat afford price nor would I pay it, and rotarys and fuel ecconomy dont match (which is needed right now).
I wanna jump the fence and gank out the bride seats in the other FC... hehe
