I know the ze block it's tougher.
What's the draw back with using a ZE block in a 4age?
Thanks.

Here are the first things that come to mind
1. An NA motor with stuff all compression, assumming you also use the ze internals
2. I didn't think the ZE block itself was any different from the 100kw GE block anyway. Same Crank diameter and all
3. If the crank and rods are used with nice high compression pistons it would be an advantage as the rods in the ze are stronger than the ge's etc
4. Will you ever get enough power out of an NA motor to need the ze block anyway?
Food for thought is all.

you wouldnt need to change the head, just the inlet manifold etc. ....i drove my mr2 around as a na ze motor for nearly a month, before i got the turbo on it, i changed all the inlet manifold and stuff over, so i didnt have to worry bout doing it when i got the turbo...it was prity gutless, but it got going around 5000rpm. i could still drive around town and on the highway, it was just like driving a celica..

umm if u plan on turboing or supercharging then its perfect. But if ur wanted N/A then it wouldn't really be any good with the ZE internals as it would be gutless cos of the compression

if you want to build an NA motor get a 20v block/crank/pistons.

Yeah, 20v bottom end, with big port head, big arse cams and quad throttles. Bit of a pig maybe, but she'll sing when the revs are on. Oh yeah, speaking of revs, 11,000rpm and standard rod bolts don't mix I found that out the hard way...

hahahahahahahahahaha.
a gze with ge pistons is a 100kw ge that is all!
i think he might be feeding you a bit of BS. why would anyone go to the trouble of making a ze into a ge when a ge is alot cheaper. would mean they would have to have two motors to make one ge. dosnt make much sense? if you want me to explain futher just ask but you should get my drift!
